By accessing or using TrustClient ("Platform"), you agree to comply with these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TrustClient.

2. User Eligibility

  • Users must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding contracts under applicable law.
  • Contractors must verify licensure (e.g., valid state-issued licenses) before posting reviews.

3. User Accounts

Registration

Users must provide accurate, complete, and current registration information, including name and license number if applicable.

Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post false, defamatory, or fraudulent reviews.
  • Use the Platform for unauthorized commercial purposes.
  • Violate any laws, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, or interfere with the Platform's integrity.

5. Content Ownership and License

User-Generated Content (UGC)

Users retain ownership of their content but grant TrustClient a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, and create derivative works from the UGC for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.

Platform Content

All design, source code, databases, and branding elements are owned exclusively by TrustClient and protected under intellectual property laws.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms.

7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved through final and binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, held in California. Class actions and jury trials are waived to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on the Platform, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Privacy Policy

1. Information Collected

Personal Data

Includes names, contact information, professional licenses, and user-submitted content.

Usage Data

Includes IP addresses, device/browser information, cookies, and interaction data.

2. Use of Data

We use your information to:

  • Verify contractor credentials
  • Facilitate user interactions and platform features
  • Improve user experience and functionality

3. Sharing of Data

We share information with trusted third-party service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processors) as necessary to operate the Platform. We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

4. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CalOPPA)

  • You may request access to or deletion of your personal data via support@trust-client.com.
  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We do not respond to Do Not Track signals.
  • Users under 16 may request removal of their posted content in accordance with California's "Online Eraser" law.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data, including encryption and restricted access controls.

User Agreement

1. UGC Guidelines

All reviews must be truthful, non-defamatory, and based on actual experience. No spam, harassment, or disclosure of third-party confidential information is permitted.

2. Content License

By submitting content, you grant TrustClient a perpetual, sublicensable, and royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute your content on the Platform and through promotional channels.

3. Termination and Removal

We reserve the right to remove content or terminate user accounts that violate our policies or applicable law.

4. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for user content or for damages resulting from your use of the Platform.
